The 2016 Conference was one of the biggest we’ve had and brought together Gypsies, Travellers and Roma, politician’s and members of Government, leading academics and service providers. 2016 was an exciting year for The Traveller Movement as we launched the Equality & Social Justice Unit (ESJU). The ESJU is a centre of excellence, which aims to improve Gypsy, Traveller and Roma access to justice and to work with individuals and communities to challenge unlawful discrimination and human rights abuses.
